Check Your Password First

Before configuring Outlook, confirm your email password is correct by logging into Webmail at mail.yourdomain.co.za. If login fails, you'll need to reset your password via your Kwikweb Control Panel before proceeding. Reset it by following this guide before continuing.

ℹ️

Throughout this guide, replace yourdomain.co.za with your actual domain name.

Add Your Email Account to Outlook 2013

  1. 1

Launch Outlook 2013 on your computer.

  2. 2

Click File in the top-left menu bar, then click the Add Account button in the centre of the screen.

  3. 3

On the Auto Account Setup screen, enter your name, email address, and password, then click Next.

Forgotten your password? Reset it by following this guide before continuing.

Auto Setup defaults to IMAP, which keeps your mail synced across all devices. If you specifically need POP3, use the Manual Setup tab instead.

Use Manual Setup if you prefer POP3, or if your domain hasn't propagated yet.

  1. 1

Open Outlook, then go to File β†’ Account Settings β†’ Add Account.

  2. 2

Select Manual setup or additional server types and click Next.

  3. 3

Select POP or IMAP and click Next.

  4. 4

    • Account type: POP3 or IMAP (your choice)
    • Incoming mail server: mail.yourdomain.co.za
    • Outgoing mail server (SMTP): mail.yourdomain.co.za
    • User Name: your full email address

    Then click More Settings…

  5. 5

On the Outgoing Server tab, ensure:

    • β˜‘ My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication is ticked
    • β˜‘ Use same settings as my incoming mail server is selected
  6. 6

Switch to the Advanced tab and set the port numbers:

    • Incoming (IMAP): 143 β€” Encryption: None
    • Incoming (POP3): 110 β€” Encryption: None
    • Outgoing (SMTP): 587 β€” Encryption: None
  7. 7

Click OK, then Next. Let the test complete and click Close, then Finish.

You're all set! Your email should now send and receive successfully.
